About Doc Doc Goose

Scheduling should support safe, fair clinical work — not become another burden. Doc Doc Goose exists to give physician groups a scheduling engine that matches real-world complexity.

Our story

Doc Doc Goose emerged from real physician frustrations with fragmented spreadsheets and opaque “black box” schedulers. Hospitalist and hospice leaders wanted to see why a schedule looked the way it did, how nights and weekends were balanced, and whether coverage rules were actually being respected.

Instead of building yet another generic rota tool, we focused on the details that matter to hospitalists, hospice teams, nursing homes, and ER / urgent care groups: multi-site shifts, flexible overlaps, credential tracking, and a clear audit trail.

Who we are

  • Physician leadership with hospitalist and post-acute care experience.
  • Engineering with healthcare SaaS and compliance backgrounds.
  • Advisors from hospice and nursing home operations to keep edge cases real.

What we believe

  • Schedules should be explainable and defensible, not mysterious.
  • Fairness and safety matter as much as efficiency.
  • Admins and clinicians both deserve fewer late-night “who’s on?” texts.
  • Security and compliance are table stakes, not add-ons.

Where we’re headed

Today, Doc Doc Goose focuses on scheduling, coverage, and credential tracking. Over time, we’re expanding into tightly integrated messaging, telehealth, and patient feedback — always anchored around the schedule.

If you’d like to help shape the roadmap as an early pilot group, we’d love to talk.
